Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. iExpenses : Rename Expense Report Type

Hi All,

We have a requirement to rename existing Expense Report Type. I wanted to get an opinion to check what is the best approach of doing this.

1. End date the existing ER type and create a new one

Or

2. Update the existing ER type to reflect the new name. (In this scenario, the desc in the old ERs will not get updated automatically)

Please provide suggestion.
