Users Want to Use 'D' Line Types on Sales Quotes (SQs)?

We just added Sales Quotes (SQ) to one of our Business Units and they started overriding the Item Branch default (Defaults to 'S' mostly) Line Type on the Sales Order/Quote entry screen P4210 with 'D' Line types, because that is what they would have done if they were entering the item as a firm Sales Order (SO).  We have the inventory interface set up to automatically generate a Purchase Order when a 'D' (Direct Ship) Line type is used on a sales order.  We have the correct P4310 Purchase Order Entry version set up to create an OD Purchase Order,
