State vs. Status Message

Hello Expert,

i have a GDS Resource ending with the following status:

            Resource Name      Node Name                State             Status Message

            -------------                 ---------                         -----              --------------

  Resource: DbCleanUpClient-res node2                Online          Faulted - Application faulted, but not restarted. Probe quitting ...

  Resource: DbCleanUpClient-res node1                Offline          Offline

With the fmadm command i can see that the cluster framework does not control any process associated to this resource.

I can see as well that the application does not run.

Actually the Status Messsage is very accurate, but the state "Online" is misleading. Can someone explain this mismatch ? Is it working as designed ?
