Loading Data From Oracle GL's

Apologies for what might be a very obvious/simple question.

We have been using FDM and Hyperion for a year or so now with data being loaded from CSV files through FDM and into Hyperion.

We are about to go live with a Oracle GL shortly and was wondering as to the best way of getting the data from 'directly' from it through FDM and into Hyperion? Once the data is in Hyperion can we drill back directly into the Oracle GL to see what Transactions make up the value are?

Any tips welcome.
