Sync enabling an employee in SSSE giving unexpected results

We are getting ready to start sync enabling users in our production enviropnment with SSSE. In preparation, I want to sync enable myself first to do some preliminary testing. I only want to sync the calendar at first and at a later time, enable contact sync. When I create a record for myself in the Sync Access Control->User Map, it automatically adds record enabling both contacts as well as tasks, and I cannot delete them as the option is grayed out. We do not intend to sync tasks at all, and in the Siebel domain config, it is set to
