PO workflow is purged and PO is stuck in inprocess status.

PO workflow is purged and PO is stuck in inprocess status. When I try to regenerate the workflow for this PO using script then it says...there is an open notification against the PO.

So I am not able to generate the workflow also.

Can someone help please.
