Part requirement process in Field Service

Hi All,

Does Oracle Allows to create Part Requirement without Assigning the Resource to the TASK on the SR . The customer does not know before raising part requirement order who is the actual engineer working on it .We tried to assign a default engineer raise the parts and then change the assignee on the TASK which is not working .,Are there any other suggestions how we can handle this .
