How REQIMPORT uses LINE_ATTRIBUTE1 column on PO.PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE_ALL table

Hello,

Can someone tell me how the REQIMPORT concurrent request uses the LINE_ATTRIBUTE1 column on the PO.PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE_ALL table?

Data is sent from an external application to the po_requisitions_interface_all table to the line_attribute1 column looking like it does below?

134988~~~~CS~~10000

134988~~~~CS~~20000

134988~~~~CS~~30000

We would like to know if the data in this column is actually used by the REQIMPORT program.  I think the analyst wants to add data to this field, to then read into another application.  Maybe there is another unused field that could be used to pass data that is not used by the REQIMPORT program.  The REQIMPORT program uses an executable file, POCIRM, but we cannot access the source code to see what the program does.

Howdy, Stranger!
