Error lauching Java Client after patch 9.3.1.2.244 for EC3.3

After applying patch 9.3.1.2.244 to our test instance when I try lauching the Java Client i'm getting the following error in the java console.

The web client comes up fine.

We are on Solaris 9 running on Sparc64 for the app, WLS 10.3.2 and the 11.2.0.4 DB.

I'm not sure where to begins to troubleshoot this.  Any guidance much appreciated!
