ODA installation using non-default OS user accounts

Hello Everyone,

We are doing POC for ODA. We use non-default OS user accounts in our environment; like nora is our oracle user and ngrid our grid user in non-production. Similarly pora is our oracle user and pgrid is our grid user in production.

We successfully installed ODA using nora and ngrid users by modifying onecommand.params file before deployment. However, want to confirm if it is supported and will not cause problems in future.

Question:

1. Can we use non-standard OS users for ODA? Or do we need to use oracle and grid users?

2. Is it a supported configuration by Oracle?
