Frequent transport lag and apply lag in dataguard

We have  4 node rac and each database is  hosted on 2 node of this 4 node rac .We have 2 Standby databases for each database .

One standby is on 2 nodes of 4 node RAC  with MAx aVailibilty mode  and other one is on oracle resart which is one node and in Max performance mode.

Oem report frequent  transport lag and apply lag in dataguard.These alerts are automatically cleared in some time.

Oem threshold for MAx avalibilyty is 10 mins and for MAx performance is 130 minutes..

My question how can we reduce this frequent apply and transport lag.

Are there parameters that can help to  reduce this lag.
