How do you install an agent on an asset?

Good morning,

This may a be a silly question, but I need to know how to deploy an OC agent to an asset.  I know this can be done during bare metal processes, etc. but there is no option that I can see to simply deploy and agent to an asset.  Does this need to be done manually?  Any guidance would be appreciated.
