To change the GL accounting period name

We built the calendar for this fiscal year and for some like JAN,APR it took as JAN-2014 APR-2014

But for remaining it took as FEB-14,MAR-14

The JAN processing went well and the FEB-14 period was opened and now we are facing errors in Journal Import and all other which are related to period name.

As this period is opened we cannot change the name..

I know that the only way is to build new set of books/ ledger...


Is there any other solution as Oracle is also not providing support as this is not on their side.. If not any process to build new set of book/ledger from old one??/
