Best Practices for Websites with Multilingual Support and Country Specific Content

edited Feb 17, 2014 5:44PM in Oracle WebCenter Sites (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hello,

I am about to start a project that needs to have support for multilingual and multicountry content (meaning that there is going to be content specific to different countries (even under the same language, and also, translation of pages\articles)). Also, only some pages should be visible on certain countries.

Are there any best practices that I would need to follow? Is using dimensions the way to go? Just with dimensions, I would be able to do my content segmentation by language and country successfully? Can I have each translation of the assets in different content “folders” on the contributor area? Are there workflows associated with content translation? ( In the sense of a contributor getting an email when a new page is added).

Howdy, Stranger!
