Triggered email from event dialog stuck in queued status in Scheduler Event Report

Using v9.2.  Triggered an email from a Marketing Programs (Event) dialog.  However, it remains stuck in Queued status in the Scheduler Event Report and never gets sent.  There is no process running in Process Scheduler.  Appreciate any help on how to resolve this.  Thanks.
