Effect of changing the GLOBAL_NAME in ebs

Customer reported a bunch of invalids as they use hyphen in their GLOBAL_NAME (GLOBAL_NAME = SDBA.ADS-PIPE.COM).  RDBMS analyst asked them to remove the hyphen and rename the GLOBAL_NAME.

Customer is asking what the consequences would the change of GLOBAL_NAME have on their ebs environment.

There is an internal note "Can the GLOBAL_NAME be Changed in an E-Business Suite Environment? (Doc ID 979690.1)" which explains the steps but doesn't talk about modifying tnsnames.ora, listener.ora, and Domain Names as I expected it should be changed.

I don't feel confident this note alone can be followed having no consequences on APPS tier in the first place.
