How can I modify an RTF output?

I am using RTF templates for BI Publisher reports. When report is generated I cannort make changes to the report. How can I modify the report output? Is there an option available the unprotetct the report out?

I am using PeopleSoft 9.1 and PeopleTools 8.53.

Template contains Word prompt fields.
