In-transit Inventory Account

Dear All,

As we have noticed that In-transit Inventory Account in Shipping Network is getting defaulted form organization parameters and is read only. While we go to Organization parameter to change In-transit Inventory account, system by default takes Inventory material Value account.

Could not understood when there is a field for In-Transit Inventory account both at organization parameter as well as in shipping network why oracle makes it Inventory material value account by default.

Requirement is to track In-Transit Inventory account in Financials through Separate GL Code Combinations. Inventory Org Costing Method is Average.
