Contracts newly Approved send FYI Notifications, can they be turned off?

Hi - in R12, Contracts that have had the Approval process completed (both Approved and Signed) are sending an FYI Notification to the the Sales Person listed as the Vendor Contact on the Contract. Is there a way to turn these Notifications off? Below is a sample of the Email Subject line, x = Contract Number, y = Customer Name, z = amount. Thanks for any advice.

Subject in Email reads - "Subject: FYI: Contract xxxxxxxx for yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy (zzzzzzz.zz USD) has been activated'
