How to display Component Product description in Product configurator

Dear Siebel experts!

We got the requirement to display product description directly in Product configurator during customizing product when user click on explanation button e.g. for 3G Small.. I found OOTB functionality which displays product description on Details section, however it displays description only for Root product.  Is there any best practice to configure Product description also on product component level ?

Root Product: Mobile Internet    

                                   * Mobile Internet 3 G (Group1)

                                                  - 3G Small

                                                   -3G Medium

                                                   -3G Maxi

                                    * Mobile Internet 4G (Group2)

                                                  - 4G Small

                                                   -4G Medium

                                                   -4G Maxi
