Best Practices - LTO Monitoring in a mainframe SL8500 environment?

Hello,

Now that the SDP to SDP2 conversion has been completed for our environments, what are the best practices for monitoring our LTO arrays which are attached/integrated into our mainframe SL8500 environment?
