How to enroll for a future dated life event in Employee Self Service

We have a life event occuring with a future date and employees need to enroll in benefits via Self Service for that future dated life event. The life event Occured date can be different for differernt groups of employees based on some predifined criteria. How to enable employees to make their elections on their future dated life event occured date via Self Service?
