Bulk Import of SSL Certificates for Siebel Outbound Web Services

Dear Community,

I had an interesting query come in as a service request and thought I would share it with you along with the workaround I came up with to see if people have some other methods that they have used or any additional comments / pointers.

Issue: 


Large Siebel 8.1 implementation running on Linux servers and using HTTPS / SSL functionality for outbound web services.  This requires that the intermediate and root CA certificates be registered through MainWin following "How To Register Certificates on UNIX Siebel Servers for Outbound HTTP Transport Requests / Web Services Over SSL (Doc ID 473779.1)" on My Oracle Support.  A significant number of the certificates are expiring or otherwise need to be added to all the servers.  This would be very time intensive to do manually, so customer was looking for some easier way to bulk import them.
