Asset creates from INTFC_PHY but errors in INTFC_FIN

Has anyone ever experienced the asset creating from the Physcial but the interface line errors on the Financial.  There was no error message so we changed the status back to pending and tried to load again and then the line errored again with an error message of invalid combo edit.  Upon researching the chartfields for this line they were the same for other assets which created successfully.  What would cause the FIN to error but the Physcial to load?
