Pre-range in wb wizard

Hi all,

My question is about pre-ranging. Why does wizard always unckeck all the positions along the hierarchies which are in the base intersection of the pre-range measure? I mean it doesn't retain the previous selections. Is that how it works? But from the configuration guide I see the following:  >cached user selections are retained when rebuilding a pre-ranged workbook;<

Please, correct me if I misunderstood something.
