Do Warehouse Rules and Production Rules impact in ASCP in OPM environment?

We are upgrading OPM 11i to R12 and implementing ASCP for global planning in place of MRP plans in individual organizations. We have 11i specified with Warehouse Rules and Production Rules by org. Do these warehouse rules and production rules go away with R12 Inventory convergence? Do R12 inventory item attributes suffice here?
