SQL Loader Charset

Last year we upgraded our E-Business Suite  Database to 11g (11.2.0.3.0)

At the same time we converted the char set to AL32UTF8.

However, we did not change the EBS Apps Tier charset it stayed at US7ASCII.

Recently when upgrading from 12.06 to 12.1.3 we got an error on adpatch which applies to:

ORA-24816: Expanded non LONG bind data supplied after actual LONG or LOB column

On files: 

pqpzzcncprg00025.ldt

payzzcncprg00514.ldt

bomprg.ldt

jg12acp.ldt

I followed the solution:
