New "KM Assistant" for AutoVue

In recent months the various Oracle Support teams have been publishing a new type of knowledge base document called "Assistants" (formerly called "Search Helpers"). These are guided and interactive documents that help quickly narrow down from a set of symptoms to a set of known solutions/answers. Assistants are highly recommended as a self-service tool and will often be suggested documents during the SR creation process.

The AutoVue team published its first Assistant in February 2014, as follows:

Assistant: Troubleshooting Connection Issues when Using AutoVue Client/Server Deployment (Doc ID 1615930.2)

As indicated by the title, this particular Assistant is focused on the topic of connection issues with the Client/Server Deployment of AutoVue (e.g. applet webpage fails to load, applet itself fails to load, error message appears during applet load, etc). Therefore if you encounter any type of connection issue with your AutoVue Client/Server Deployment, make sure to first walk through the Assistant in case an answer is already waiting for you.

Howdy, Stranger!
