Running HFM API's based utility in 11.1.2.2

Hi,

We are using a HFM batch utility built using VB and HFM API's. For ver 9 and 11, it required HFM windows client installed on the server to work. Now with 11.1.2.2,the HFM windows client is virtually non existant. What should we do now to make our HFM utility work. One workaround is to use the HFM client of previous version and configure the HFM cluster of 11.1.2.2 version on it (which works) but we dont want to try that as Oracle does not recommend using HFM windows client to connect to 11.1.2.2 applications.
