Stat Engine - Key Columns

Hi All,

We want to understand how Stat Engine works- Is there a White paper we can refer to. I want to understand the key inputs, (columns)  Output (Columns).

In the BM-  Is the inputs -based upon Actual_Quantity column ?

                    Which columns is the Output inserted by the Engine?

               What happens if the data is very granular? Will this cause issues with the Stat Engine Output. We have projects environment where the same item-may not be shipped from same customer every week. So in the sales_data we will see many zeros or null values?
