Unable to end date a task

Problem Description:

Unable to close the task because of an expenditure item

Expenditure item coded to that task is 25-Aug-2020. To be able to end date the task, change the date on the expenditure item, which is 2020

Project – 720200-91045

OU – WP US USA

Project, 720200-91045 start date is 27-JUN-2009 and end date is 05-FEB-2060

Task - CNEC TRANSITION PLANNING – Start 27-JUN-2009 and end date is 25-AUG-2020

Expenditure item, start date is 30-MAR-2010 and end date is 05-APR-2010

Please suggest a solution for this.
