How to bulk close purchase orders ?

Hello,

We have loads of past open purchase orders.

We wish to bulk close them.Finally Closed is ideal but even closed will do.

Is there a program which will close all the eligible purchase orders say before 2010 and older.

What is the best strategy to do this task.

Is Dataloader an option ?
