How can I sync Primary and Standby databases?

I am not familiar with Dataguard.  I have done some reading.  I have a Primary and Standby database that are out of sync with one another.  Lack of space was an issue on the Standby database.  That has been corrected.  A recovery of the Primary database was executed due to a table deletion.  Both issues caused the databases to be out of sync.

Is there a quick and straight forward way to re-sync the database???  Below is some information from a log received.

***** A. Comparison of the re-do log numbers from Primary
and standby database  *****

              1. IF Last Seq Recieved is the same between Primary and standby
