? Basics to Add SQL 2008 R2 to a JDE E1 system and replace SQL 2005 server

Hi all,

I have a system with Windows 2008 servers for WebSphere 6.1, Deployment Server, Enterprise Server and Win SQL 2005 DB Server.  Tools  8.98.3.2  Release 9.0

I need to add an SQL 2008 R2 64 bit server to an existing system which will replace the 2005 server.

Do I start by running a platform pack on the SQL 2008 R2?  Can I use my platform pack I have from the previous install?  Or do I need  to download a certain one?  Then create the plan?  I plan to run the installation planner while no one is on the system and get it all set up so I can modify some things to do a final switchover.
