Account Primary Address and Contact Account Address Mismatch

Dear Community.

I am working on address issue which appears to be not correct. Please see the below scenario

I have Account in Account screen say 'ABC' and Account primary address is set to 'ADDR1'  with other address details line 1, line 2 postcode etc.

If I drill down to Account screen Account 'ABC' --> Under Contact sub screen I have Contact 'XYZ' , drill-down on Contact and check the Account Address in Contact screen has different Account address and not 'ADDR1'

Mostly all records are populated with correct Address in Account and Contact.

Can you put in some thoughts as how to approach this issue and possibly find some solution. I am thinking to Update the Contact Account Address. Are there any other configuration issues.This system has been since 2007 and from last two there appear no changes done on this system.
