Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Error message while entering future project expenditure item date in Requisitions

Hi

User has entered a expenditure item date of 31 May 2014 when raising a requisition. This was entered in Dec 2013. Only 1 future period is open.

Now when the user is trying to enter a requisition date of 31 May 2014 for another project it gives an error

"There is no open or future period for the given Expenditure Item Date and GL Date"

What could be the possible reasons for this happenning
