Single Instance Non-RAC with ASM Cloning Inquiry

Hi,

My production database were setup as Single Instance Non-RAC with ASM.

I was searching to the Knowledge base about how to clone this type of database setup but since then, I don't see any related to this topic.

I also tried to search to the internet but the only output are related to file system and RAC cloning only.

Could you please help us where to find a document related to my inquiry?

or

And also since our company don't have plans to shift to RAC setup, do you advise to convert our Database environment to file system?
