Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. RMAN Retention Policy

Hi,

We are configuring RMAN on one of our 11g database

This is a 24 x 7 OLTP database

We are planning to run a level 0 backup on Saturday night and then from Sun thru Fri, level 1 incremental backup

The backup will go to a disk

What "Retention Policy" should we set for this to ensure that we have all the backup in place we would need to recover?
