Unable to install Oracle VM 3.0.2

Hi All, My objective is to setup 2 node Oracle RAC 11gR2 on RHEL 5.7 using Oracle VM 3.0.2. I've already installed RHEL 5.7 on a 40 GB hard disk.  I've another 500 GB hard drive where I want to install Oracle and database stuff only. I want to install Oracle VM 3.0.2 on this 40 GB hard drive after deleting all partitions and linux. When I boot the machine with the OVM bootable CD I'm able to accept the license agreement. After that I get "partitioning type" screen but no hard disks detected. I tried OVM install after removing the 500 GB disk but still no hard disks are found on the machine. When I boot the Linux I see both 40 GB and 500 GB disks. Can some tell what is wrong here?
