Does opatch auto relocate database services before shutting down an instance?

Hi DBAs:

This is a questions about applying patches (PSUs, etc.) in a rolling fashion and the effect on the RAC instances.  Hopefully this is the proper forum.  This is CRS 11.2.0.3 and RAC RDBMS 11.2.0.3.    Everything is on rhel5 x86_64.

I use opatch auto to apply a PSU to all the ORACLE_HOMEs at once:  Grid Home and any Oracle Homes of the same release.  All RAC databases have at least one custom service managed by Clusterware.  Does opatch auto relocate running services to available instances before shutting down the instance?
