Post dated GL entries in R12 vs 11i

Hi,

we have recently upgraded from 11 i to R12.1.3. and have a question with respect to Post dated GL entries.

A journal entry dated in the future, the costs will not show up until that future date.

For example, if you make an entry today that’s dated 02/28, the costs won’t show up in the GL

until Friday (02/28) regardless of which process is run.

Is this an intended functionality or a setup issue?

Can some one please help?
