What is the best practice to maintain a Price list ?

Client wanted to review / update the prices in every quarter, so wanted to have an option to download (the pricelist) it to MS-Excel format & update the price.

Once completed, upload the same (updated price list)  into Oracle. For this upload, they are not interested in Data loader tool. They are looking for some kind of a simple program to upload the price list from excel.

Is there any way to achieve this by standard functionality ? otherwise what would be alternate way to update the prices in every frequent intervel..
