Purchase order print on demand not taking data selection

Hi,

I'm using JDE 8.12 and when we are inquiring Purchase Orders via P4310, there is a row exit that allows us to print the selected Order (Print-on-demand).

However, I would like to limit the range of status that this row exit is allowing to print so I linked it to a version of R43500 in which I set a data selection on the range of status I wish to authorize (400-999). But this seem to have absolutely no effect, I can still print whatever PO is displayed on screen.

How can I make the data selection in my version of R43500 have an effect when using this row exit? or is there another way to achieve this?
