Few basic questions Core Contracts for the experts

We have Contracts repository enabled.

Now we are doing a POC to confirm if Oracle Core contracts will meet our needs

1. I can't find any way to use contract expert to create a contract from the template. Which responsibility to be used. In R12 we can't find it.

2. I cant find where to download the template to Microsoft word

3. Can anyone point me to the correct user guide for R12 as I can only find the implementation and admin guide. It does not tell me step by step how to use the system to create a contract from a template. once I understand that I will be able to design a POC for this system.
