PIM-Custom validations failed, please contact your System Administrator

Getting the error 'Custom validations failed, please contact your System Administrator' when trying to update the Attribute in an Attribute group.(we are using PIM R12.1.3)

Can anyone suggest, what could be the cause for this?

System was working fine till last day.
