Unable to drill down on ADI report after file has been saved

If a user publishes a report and saves it they are able to drill down but once the Excel session is closed and then the file is reopened the drill down functionality is lost.

We are on 11i and running reports using the ADI toolbar (client side).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
