Forecast Spreading Based on User-defined Calendar

Hi -

Client forecasts in monthly buckets and has a requirement to level the production schedule in daily buckets in a discrete manufacturing environment.  The process would be to sum up the forecasts over a 6 month period (Jan to Jun, Jul to Dec) and divide this sum by the number of workdays in the 6 month period.  We are using MRP which does not have standard functionality to spread the forecast.  Even ASCP has limited functionality to meet this requirement by spreading monthly forecast evenly into daily buckets.  We need to spread the forecast evenly across a 6 month period.

Would this new functionality of Forecast Spreading Based on User-defined Calendar meet this requirement?
