R31804 - Not getting any IV Document types

We are in E1 9.10 using 02 weighted average costing. I intentionally over issued component stock expecting to see it show as a IV material variance, but it showed IC on Variance report. Nor do I see any IV variance types. I'm looking for suggestions as to possible causes.
