Hi All,

I am in the process of setting up Samba to talk to our Active Directory domain for authentication / SSO when the users map drives to the Solaris 10 samba server.

I have been following the Oracle Doc:

How to configure Solaris Samba to authenticate to and join a Windows Active Directory Server (ADS) Domain (Doc ID 1494126.1)

Which has been great, there were a few great little gotchas like needing to modify the encryption for the non global zone that I had to work through before it would even join the domain. Anyway it's succesfully joined the domain and is happily displaying testjoin ststaus ok etc. wbinfo -u | grep <windows user account>
