R12.1.3 Requisitions : Defaulting GL Date by entered Need By Date

Hi All,

We are exploring the possibility of the defaulting GL Date with the inputted/entered Need By Date.

When raisning requisitions with multiple lines and for multiple periods, Currently we need to enter Need by date and GL Date at every line, however in our case we have a rule where need by date and GL date are same, so we are entering same date twice for each line, which is an input overhead. Is there a way when we enter Need by date the it defaults GL date or vice versa. This will reduce input overhead quite considerably.
